Why Book
Lansdown is a distinguished hilltop neighbourhood sitting on the high ground to the north of Bath's city centre, offering some of the most breathtaking panoramic views across the city and the surrounding Somerset and Wiltshire countryside.
For visitors willing to make the climb or a short drive the rewards are considerable. The area is steeped in history, most notably as the site of the Battle of Lansdown Hill in 1643, one of the significant engagements of the English Civil War, marked today by a monument that makes for a fascinating and peaceful stop. Nearby, Lansdown Racecourse hosts horse racing events through the season, drawing crowds to one of the most scenically located racecourses in England, with its extraordinary views stretching for miles on a clear day.
The neighbourhood itself is characterised by grand Regency and Georgian villas and terraces, including the sweeping Lansdown Crescent and the adjoining Somerset Place, which rival even the Royal Crescent in their elegance and are all the more special for being largely free of tourist crowds. Lansdown offers a wonderfully unhurried and authentic slice of Bath for those keen to venture a little beyond the well trodden tourist trail.
We Bring everything we need service: folding table, fresh linens, oils, warm blankets, calming music. You clear a bit of floor space; we do the rest.
What our clients say
"We booked Ally and her team for private massages for 4x ladies and it was fabulous. I highly recommend Ally if you are on a girls trip to Bath. In the comfort of your own place, Ally was excellent. One of our ladies is head of Health and Beauty at a college and she said it was excellent as well!!!! Get yourselves booked you won’t regret it."

frequently Asked Questions
Do you cover the whole of BA1 and BA2?
Yes. All postcodes in BA1 and BA2 are within our core area with no travel fee. That includes Bath city centre, Bathwick, Widcombe, Oldfield Park, Combe Down, Weston, Larkhall, Lansdown, and all the surrounding villages.
Can you come to an Airbnb or hotel?
Absolutely, it's one of the most common requests. We just need a room with enough floor space for the table (roughly 2m x 1m of clear floor), and somewhere nearby to park briefly for unloading.
How much notice do you need?
Usually three days for a single treatment, longer for couples or groups. Same-day bookings are sometimes possible – just get in touch.
